Project B2M

Ok, so after attending my last sale I have decided that I need to really cool it with the hauling and beauty purchases. The majority of my recent posts have really only been hauls and I would really like to write some reviews again -- but I can't review if I keep using new products and putting the "old" ones in the back burner.

So, in order for me to finally use and appreciate the products that I already have, I have decided to do a variation of Project 10-Pan -- but rather than waiting to use up ten products before my next purchase... I will use up 6 products, instead (equivalent to a B2m exchange) -- which is still a pretty difficult task.
*Project B2M was Wendy's idea since she says 10 is way impossible (for me at least) and that at least trying to use up 6 MAC products is an incentive for getting new products -- and for free!

Of course, this doesn't apply to what I feel are essentials such as moisturizer/toner etc...

In addition to trying to use the products I already have... I also need to do a little spring cleaning... that is... I have put a side a lot of products for giveaways and contests... as well... I will be holding another blog sale soon... I hope... there are so many things I can't seem to part with (haha)... but I am also not using them... so I either let those products sit in the drawer and collect dust... or hope that someone else will put it to good use... =(

First Make-up Job

So i'm super excited as i will be the MUA for a real professional photoshoot tomorrow. The model will have 4 outfit changes and i am required to do 2 to 3 make-up looks and touch ups. This is my first gig so I'm super excited and nervous!!!

Dame Edna

I feel i have been on a rollercoaster in terms of desire for the Dame Edna collection from MAC. I like it one day... love it the next.... then feel "meh" about it another day.... lol
The packaging is super cute, but i don't believe in purching products for their packaging -- you should actually like the product as well. I originally wanted to get one lipstick, one palette and one highlight powder. I'm not sure i want a palette anymore, as the colours really don't appeal to me. Neither do the lipsticks.... so i think i'll just pick up a highlight powder....

MAC Haulage

Hey Everyone!!!

I have written 2 exams so far (both went extremely well!!!) and have one more left on monday! YAY!

So for those of you who aren't aware, there is an Estee Lauder/MAC warehouse sale that is going on this weekend (fri-sun), which is by invitation only. I was fortunate enough to have been invited to go -- and i did some damage. It wasn't as bad as last time, nor as bad as my friend whom I went with -- she did all her christmas shopping there!!

It was a GREAT sale -- I wouldnt say it was better than last time, but there were some surprises. For example, I was extremely surprised to have found the dazzlelash mascara there (which i had planned to pick up anyway) that was only launched a few weeks ago. I was also surprised to find the "shadowy lady" palette there (which was supposed to be sold out online from the Cult of Cherry collection) -- it was only $15 and yes... i picked one up =) The charged water was 2 for $12 (retails $23CAD each)... what else... there was the $3 bin... hmm.. oh brush sets for $20-$25... OOHHH and that big body brush that was limited edition over the summer.. looks like Urban Decay's buddha brush... damnit.. i forget what the number is... but yeah i remember it being $70 at the mac store... and here it was only $20... i was tempted but decided i don't need it for anything.... anyway... lets just post some pictures shall we?

Studio Sculpt

I'm really intrigued by this collecton that will be released in February 2009. It consists of gel foundations and concealers. I imagine it to glide on super smooth (and hopefully does not fade) with an irresistable finish.

Hello Kitty/Kitty Kouture

OMG ladies... i can't tell you enough how excited i am about the hellokitty/MAC collection that is coming out in a couple of months... new pictures have been released (go check them out at spektra.net) and i can't get over how AWESOME the lipsticks are with hello kitty's face etched on the side!! AAAAAHHHHHH

i think i'm gonna pick up a couple of lipsticks, both eye palettes and a blush... what do you guys plan to get?

Chromaline

These look sooooo awesome!
Although i'm unsure as to why MAC is calling them chromaline and not just the original "fluidline"... are they not the same formula?
Nonetheless... the colours are so vibrant and i'm looking forward to getting the blue, green and purple!! ^_^
